The Journey of all journeys, a trip to the Himalayan Char Dham is considered the experience of a lifetime. An experience that, it is said, not only purges the soul of all its sins but rejuvenates the mind enough to open up to the fullness of life itself. Nestled amidst the mighty, blue-green, snow-tipped Himalayan peaks in Uttarakhand, Himalayan Char Dham comprises of the four sacred Hindu sites -Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Each of these sites has its own aura of religious significance and together they form the epicenter of religious activity in the Dev Bhumi i.e. Uttarakhand. In keeping with the tradition, the yatra as a cycle completes itself from the west to the east. The yatra starts from Yamunotri, makes its way to Gangotri, then to Kedarnath and finally to Badrinath. The Immense religious significance of these four sites ensures a lot of hustle bustle during the summer months when devotees from all over the world come here to experience eternal bliss. The picturesque Himalayan surroundings and the warm hospitality of the local people add to the experience in a way that is completely unforgettable.

TOUR ITINERARY :
DAY 1: UP TO RISHIKESH (245 KMS/7HRS)
You will be met and greeted by our office Representative upon the arrival in Delhi. Board your vehicle and drive to Rishikesh. Arrival at Rishikesh, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Evening Ganga Arti & Overnight at Rishikesh.

DAY 2: RISHIKESH – BARKOT (190KMS/7HRS)
After breakfast, we proceed to Barkot. Barkot is a place of great scenic beauty with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains all around. A magnificent view of the eternal snow peaks of Bandar punch can be seen from here. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Barkot.

DAY 3: BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT (38KMS/2HRS, 6 KMS/3HRS TREKS ONE SIDE)
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Jankichatti via Syanachatti. From Jankichatti we start our trek to Yamunotri (6 km/3 hrs) to visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna, situated on the bank of the river. You can take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by natural hot water and cook rice in its water, the common rituals performed by the devotees. We return to Barkot in the evening. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Barkot.

DAY 4: BARKOT – HARSIL (170 KMS, 7-8 HRS)
After breakfast, we will proceed to Harsil – one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. En-route we will stop at Gangnani for hot water spring dip. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Harsil

DAY 5: HARSIL – GANGOTRI – HARSIL (23 KMS/2HRS)
After breakfast, we proceed to Gangotri (23 Kms/1 hr). On arrival take a holy deep in the River sacred The Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja at the temple and relax in the lovely surrounding. In the afternoon return back to Harsil. Overnight at Harsil.

DAY 6: HARSIL– GUPTKASHI (260 KM/ 8-9 HRS)
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Guptakashi (260 Kms). Arrive at your camp and check into your rooms. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Guptkashi.

DAY 7: GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI (HELICOPTER)
After breakfast, we proceed to Phata (12 Kms/01 hrs) to take the helicopter till Kedarnath. Arrive at Kedarnath & we take you to visit Kedarnath Temple for Darshan, Aarti & pooja. After the holy darshan way back to Guptakashi Camps Via Helicopter. Overnight stay at The Chardham Camps, Guptkashi

DAY 8: GUPTKASHI – JOSHIMATH VIA CHOPTA (170 KM / 6 HRS)
After breakfast, we proceed to Joshimath (170 Km / 6 hrs), one of the most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Enjoy the beautiful drive through the medicinal forest. On arrival in check in to your Chardham camp. The evening is free for you to explore Joshimath on your own. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Joshimath.

DAY 9: JOSHIMATH – BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH ( 44 KMS DRIVE ONE WAY/ 2 HRS)
After breakfast, we proceed to Badrinath. On arrival take holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibet. We return to Joshimath in the evening. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Joshimath.
